Each SA RoadTrippers custom composite Motorhome box is developed and manufactured in close cooperation with the customer.
SA RoadTrippers produces assembled bare boxes for DIY projects.
On request, we also manufacture the subframe / suspension and assemble the complete unit on the chassis.
SA Roadtrippers composite Motorhome boxes are available in almost any wall, ceiling and floor thickness.
As we produce our composite panels in-house, we are able to bond an aluminum Frame within the panels of the box.
The Aluminum frame is manufactured following the outer dimensions of the panel with an outer framework and has supporting internal aluminum profiles for attaching doors, hatches and windows in the panel.
The internal aluminum profiles provides superior strength for fitting the doors, windows and hatches.
This bonded aluminum frame within the panel increases stability and minimizes the construction height. Reinforcements for a rear carrier, awnings, floor rails or seat belt systems can also be added in the panel production process.
For the edges and corners, we use extruded aluminum profiles (or FRP profiles)
The aluminum profiles are bonded to the panels to build the box, the corners of the outer Aluminum profiles are mitered and then seam welded for added additional strength and structure.
For optimal stiffness, we recommend using some interior walls and furniture components manufactured from composite panels.
